HI EVERYONE!

THOSE OF YOU WHO SUPPLY MINI-BLINDS WITH YOUR RENTALS HOW DO YOU CLEAN THEM. I HAVE A BAD BACK AND CAN'T LEAN OVER LONG ENOUGH TO CLEAN THEM. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

You can get a five-pronged duster at most department stores. It slides in between the slats to clean them.

When the duster will no longer clean them because of smoking and gas heat and cooking residue I have been told to put them in the tub with a little detergent and bleach. Let them soak and they will look wonderful but my bad back will not me do that. I don't want to throw them away and but new ones when the old ones still have a life left.

Another way is very messy - but works. Spray them while they hang with 409. Then rinse by spraying with water. I usually tape garbage bags up in the window and on the floor and layer them with old rags.
