I JUST READ YOUR COLUMN IN "COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT", WHERE RG AND JG FROM GEORGIA ASKED "WHO SHOULD BE DOING WHAT?".
MY HUSBAND AND I MANAGE A SMALL (101 + 23 WINTER RV SPACES) MOBILE HOME PARK WHERE I ONLY NEED TO BE IN THE OFFICE FROM 9 A.M. TO NOON. IN A SITUATION LIKE THAT SHOULD THE OFFICE HALF OF THE TEAM HELP THE MAINTENANCE HALF OF THE TEAM DO CLEANING WORK IN THE AFTERNOON? I DO, BUT THE OTHER PARKS DO NOT. AFTER ALL I THINK BEING A TEAM MEANS PULLING TOGETHER TO PRODUCE A COMMON END. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I agree with you. Being a successful community means working for the betterment of the residents and the community. If one part of the job only takes a few hours, it only makes sense to help in another area. Kudos to you and hundreds of other managers who alaready do this!
