North Carolina Seminars

Post by Bud Laramore » Mon Mar 19, 2001 11:32 pm

Dear Chrissy:

I own several mh park communities in NC ranging from 200 to 350 sites per community. I am interested in my on site managers attending your educational seminars.

Would you be kind enough to offer suggestions on available seminars in NC?

Our operations are computerized now--however, I am always searching for a better software program. I am currently using a Lotus 123 program that I designed several years ago while employed with Oakwood Homes.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Also, any info on park development----I have developed over 20 parks in my
carrier, but am always eager to learn a better, more efficient manner to do business.

Kind Regards,

Bud Laramore

Good to hear from you! Unfortunately, North Carolina doesn't have any more of the management classes scdheduled at this time. There seems to be quite a bit of interest, however, so the possibility of doing a class would seem to be high. If you would like to call NCMHI and express your interest, they might schedule a class. Or, as an option, you may wanat to hold a private class for your managers. If you would like information on the cost of doing this, please let me know and we'll get it out to you.

Software issues certainly seem to be controversial issues these days, and with the proliferation of programs, there is no shortage of choices! One of the items offered on my website (www.chrissy-jackson.com) is a checklist that you can use to be sure the software program you select will do whata you want it to do.

In the areas of development - I could write a book - and probably will one of these days! However, in the meantime, if you have a specific question, I'll try to help.
