Developing is an exciting venture - and can be very costly if not done right - and in the right market! A comprehensive feasibility study combined with a market analysis will get you off on the right foot initially. MHI has a new publication out written by Steve Hullibarger, entitled "Developing with Manufactured Homes." The attitude of the local officials as well as surrounding property owners is also important should the land in question need rezoning. The information you need would fill several books!
