MHP - new owner / lease terms

I am looking at purchasing a manufactured home in a park in Florida - closing first week of January 2006.

Will I be locked into the previous owner's lease since I am closing only in January, or will I have to sign a new lease and pay the new lot prices that are starting in 2006? I asked because it would be nice to pay the previous owner's price for a year.

Everything between a landlord and a resident in Florida is governed by a document entitled the Prospectus if the community is more than 25 homesites. Please read this carefully; get a legal opinion if you feel the need. The question you ask is only one of many that will arise during your residency. It is important to understand now the terms and conditions that will govern you after you purchase the home.
