SALES AND MARKETING TOOL

I have been associated with the Manufactured Housing Industry for about 10 years, worked in Sales at my fathers dealership. While working there I was introduced to a wonderful sales and marketing tool. I am talking about this because reading all the messages we are trying to find ways to make sales easier for the prospective homebuyer. Questions like: What can I do to keep my product in front of the prospective homebuyer after they leave your dealership and go to the next one and the one after that and so on.. I see statements like "let me us shop the home without the salesman following you around and making you feel uncomfortable... I have been there and done that. Age old answer to why we shop car dealerships on Sunday....No saleman to try to convince me to buy something I am not sure I need.
I will stop chattering about all the things we know and tell you that the reason that I am not working directly in the sales of manufactured homes, Is because I found the Interactive Home CD ROM www.interactivehomes.com. I was actually selling homes that were not a stock unit directly from the CD, we were saving thousands of dollars handing these CD's out to the customer in the place of all the paper brochures. We were set apart from the other dealerships in our town.We were giving them something that they could take home, tour the homes, learn about the products, upgrades, warranty and all the key information that we as sales people preach daily and wonder if we are ever heard?
I am a true beliver in the concept, not because that is now what I do but because I know that I was writing my own contract when I gave one of the CD's out. The prospective homebuyer did not leave my office with a arm load of paper brochures, they left with a salesperson in hand and were able to shop my home in the stress free enviroment of their own home.
