Sales tips

I may have a chance to retire early from my current job and have considered, along with publishing advertising flyers, working in manufactured home sales. Can you recommend any books that might be of help, especially for one who has not worked in the field? I realize much can be gained by experience, and by research, but I want to be able to go in cold with some background. It's an interesting field and, while I know sales are down in many parts of the country, I think I could do this well and use my retirement as backup during the "bad" sales seasons. Any thoughts?
