Salespeople pay plans

When I started in trhe business, everyone was happy with straight commission. Now, I can't hire anyone I would accept oon that plan. What is happening and what are other dealers doing about it?

THERE SEEMS TO BE MANY REASONS FOR THIS IN MY OPINION. ONE IS UNENPLOYEMENT IS SO LOW. SECOUND IS IT TAKES A MORE EDUCATED, PROFFESSIONAL SALESPERSON TO BE SUCCESSFULL NOW. THESE PEOPLE ARE IN HIGH DEMAND AND DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER. MANY OF THE "OLD PROS" HAVE LEFT OUR INDUSTRY PARTLY DUE TO GREEDY COMPANIES THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND OR APPRECIATE WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE A LIVING SELLING M.HOMES. MY EXPERIANCE HAS BEEN IF YOU HAVE A REAL OPPURTUNITY FOR A PROFFESSIONAL SALESPERSON THEY WILL COME AND MAKE GOOD PRODUCTIVE EMPLOYEES. IN MY MARKET THIS MEANS A INCOME OF OVER 80k PLUS OPPURTUNITY TO GROW. A GOOD SOLID TRAINIG PROGAM CAN ALSO HELP. AT BEST IT SEEMS TO BE A CONSTANT STRUGLE TO MAINTAIN A GOOD SALES FORCE. BUT FOR THE PEPOLE WHO CAN, IT SEEMS TO BE THE KEY FOR SUCCESS. GOOD LUCK!
