Hi all,
We recently moved, and I put my manufactured home up for sale. We had an offer, and accepted it... cash buyer. I don't know the buyer personally. What is my best course of action for completing the sale? Is it appropriate to ask for a proof of funds letter from the buyer, from his bank? Please share any tips on what this process should look like. I've never done this before, and don't want to screw it up.
Thanks!

When selling a manufactured home to a cash buyer, it is certainly appropriate to ask for a proof of funds letter from the buyer’s bank. This document will confirm that the buyer has the necessary funds to complete the transaction. It’s a common practice in real estate transactions, especially for large purchases like homes, to ensure the buyer is financially capable of completing the sale.
For online payments I use linkpay as a virtual card.
