Dealer "Show" Models vs custom or factory bought

Post by pippen » Sun Jul 25, 2010 1:04 pm

I am looking at purchasing a Clayton home. I have noticed that local dealers have models for sale that include a lot of upgrades. Are these show room models cheaper than they same home made to order through the factory?

I noticed that all of the homes have numerous upgrades, and some have incentives (furniture package, flat screens, etc.)

There is seldom a reason for a stock model to be less than fresh ordered unless the dealer has had it for a very long time ( once they are about a year old dealers will often take their losses for their mistakes and move on)..Most often factory orders can be less expensive...You will get EXACTLY the colors you want and only pay for options you feel important to you..You will not have to pay for and accept options you have not interest in..Good Luck..
