Below are some of the most recent updates concerning DeVon S. Howard's DSH Housing Group aka Goldbuilt Homes aka Goldbilt Homes aka Quality Wholesale Homes, aka Forever Homes, aka Peritius Financial.

If you are a victims of these varmints, the 1st thing you should do is file a complaint for Internet fraud and larceny (theft) with your local police dept., the FBI and the FTC. Your complaint should be for Internet fraud and grand theft larceny. Be sure to name all the varmints that stole your money personally. They are:
1) DeVon S. Howard (DSH)
2) R. Scott Leckie
3) David Higbee
4) Brock Henning

I just got off the phone with Brandon Poland , Investigator of the Texas Dept. of Housing and Community Affairs, and faxed to him this information. He informed me that anyone who dealt with QWH (DHS) he can help you! His phone # is 512-463-7335. He also told me that the FBI is now involved with these criminals and he has spoken to the FBI personally. So don’t give up hope yet! HANG IN THERE>.

Government Actions

On September 1, 2009 the Utah Division of Consumer Protection issued an Final Order by Default against DSH Management Services LLC, Quality Wholesale Homes West LLC, Peritus Financial Services LLC, Devon S Howard, and R. Scott Leckie ("Respondents"). The Respondents were ordered to cease and desist from: a) failing to ship goods or furnish services within the time advertised or otherwise represented after receiving payment; b) conducting business regulated by the Credit Services Organization Act without first securing a certificate of registration from the Division and posting a bond, letter of credit or certificate of deposit; c) charging or receiging money or other valuable consideration prior to full and complete performance of services Respondents agree to perform for buyers; d) making or causing to be made untrue material statements, or failing to disclose material facts necessary to make statements made not misleading in connection with telephone solicitations; e) failing to make refunds to consumers within thirty (30) days of receiving valid requests for refunds; and f) any act in violation of the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Credit Services Organization Act, and the Telephone Fraud Prevention Act. The Respondents were assessed and ordered to pay an administrative fine in the amount of $87,500.00.

Definitely get your complaint into the Utah and Montana's Attorney Generals. Ask them to assess restitution on behalf of the numerous DSH/QWH victims, which, if they were truely interested in protecting consumers, they should reimburse these victims with some of the $87,500 fine money they will collect from Devon Howard.

Also, some sources in St. George, Utah that know of or live near DeVon S. Howard, claim he owns tons of property, many nice cars, homes and businesses. When things get too "hot" for him to handle, he heads to his vacation homes in Mexico and Caribbean.... so the victims of DSH should, at bear minimum, file complaints in Small Claims Court (if amount he stole from you is $5000 or less) to obtain judgment, then garnish/attach D.S.Howard's bank accounts and lien his homes and other property. He must pay you first before he can buy or sell any more properties, or you could file to have the sheriff take possession of his property and force it to be sold at public auction to pay you back.

this is a copy of a letter i sent the utah fbi,over a year ago,no replys,
can you tell me who can help us,this kind of stuff has got to stop they have destroyed so many dreams of so many and they are doing it still under new names ,statewide homes, and goldbuilt homes,same sales man at 3 or 4 new home sales,differant states,they tryed to get me again for another big down payment at statewide homes,i told them i knowed what they was up to and that i turned them in to the fbi, they stoped calling and emailing,me but i have all there email saved,names of the sale`s men,
thank you for any help or info you can give me,i have been trying to get help from so many for so long,the bbb which dave higbee works for in st george,ut ,the cia,the fbi, the irs,the state attoriney genarels of ut,id,i even wrote the home office in tx of qwhomes,to tell them what they are doing out here they wasent abite conserned about it,

i was advised by a Field agent to contact the fraud dept, and inform you of a fraud, a St George,UT based company, qw homes, ripping people off ,they have took $22500, from us,as a down payment on a home and its been over a year,they wont answer the phones or emails,they wanted my bank account so they could draw money out of my checking now and then for the down payment,but i did not give it to them,i sent 2 bank wires and 1 cashers check,to them they said they need to put my husband through credit repair they took my ssn and his ssn,and his credit score has dropped,they have closed thire doors and will not answer the phones or emails,i was told that my deposit would be returned if i did not get the home,i have wrote them canceled the orders tried to call,there is a lot of people they have done this to,i have been told that there is a class action suit started against the company owner but i cant find it,his name is Devon Howard,the other man that took our money and told us for any reason that we did not get our home the money would be returned is Dave Higbee both from Utah's,i think they owne the credit repair place all so,the credit repair company guaranteed they would get the loan for us,and they have not done nothing that they said they would,the inter net is full of complaints against them,Quality Wholesale Homes,they are taking large amounts of money from people across lots of state lines as they had offices set up in lots of states and not delivering what they said they was going to,people that was counting on them homes is now with out a home and no money to get one any place els,thise guys need to be stoped,so iam reporting this to you not only for my self but for all the others that have lost thire hope for a new home and thire money,a class action suit will only help them that are in on it and in one state,and there is many people in many states that have been took by them,thank you for your help,
