Well the long search is finally over. We will be going to the dealer Saturday to finalize the paper work and make a down payment. We went and looked around last Friday at the Solitaire dealership in Oklahoma and found the perfect floor plan for us. While we were there, the salesman told us that prices are going to be rising here before to long. Yesterday the salesman calls us and told us that when we came and looked at the houses Friday they were in the middle of a meeting and it was about raising the prices but since we were there that day he would honor the old prices. In our opinion the Solitaires are far and away the best deal going. Like many others have stated, the only draw back is the lack of customizing the home to ones wants. But, quality wise there are none better. And most of Solitaires standard features are what others allow for upgrades. We went with the PRT3 model, its a three bedroom with 2 baths and 2304sf. We are going to get the vinyl siding, upgrade to the heavy carpet and upgrade the insulation package. Just wanted to thank everyone for all the helpful information that I have been able to collect over the past few months.

He was a good salesman to tell you the "prices are going up". That's the #1 line in real estate. He's probably due for a promotion. Buy now before nobody can afford one!
