Hi:

My husband and I are looking at a 1982 Goldenwest, 2bd 2 bath in OC. Space rent is HUGE here, however the park is nice. Can someone tell us, besides the listing agent, where else we can go to determine if the list price of 65k is reasonable? Trying to make sense of the mh market here is nutso.

Thank you !

You can try looking at the homes for sale on this website - to your left.

Since the value is location dependent..You will have to do your own homework..Shop other homes in this park and compare prices....Check out other close by parks and continue your comparison...Compare the used home with the price of new in the same park...In the 80's Golden West was the best of the best in the West..

Just to let you know, Southern California is one of few areas where mobile/manufactured are sold as a comp and the lenders will accept sales price. In other areas, they would go by the book value.
