settlement question

Hi,
We found the home of our dreams, but have questions regarding settlement. I live in PA and was told there is no sales tax and basically it is handled like an auto sale. Is this true?

Call your local sales tax office and ask..check with the title office as well....

MH in PA are titled like a car, but you don;t pay sales tax due to a recent change in the tax law.
You can contact the PA Manufactured Housing Assoc. for the exact law, but I know that no sales tax is levied on MH
