can a MH be rented?

I have heard mixed messages about renting a manufactured home. Some said we can't rent it out to renters. Some say we can. Does it depend on the landlord? Or is it a global law that you can't rent out MH? I don't see any MH for rent ever...why? TIA.

Unless there is something specific where you located, there is nothing that prohibits renting a manufactured home.

If you live in a MH park where you lease/rent the land, the park may have restrictions that prohibit you from renting it out. Check your lease or with park management. If you own the land you can rent it out.
