deal confusion

Help! We need advice. We purchased a double wide NEW manufactured home a few weeks ago, in a rented park, obtained financing, THOUGHT we closed the deal., moved in and started upgrading things ( new better appliances, bath fixtures,landscaping.....) and found out that the park owner / dealer has not followed thru and signed the final papers with the lender we were approved with (even though we had "settlement" together and sined papers) . Do not have aclear understanding why the holdup. Maybe the lender is requiring something from the dealer/park owner that he is not able or willing to provide?? Anyway- where does that leave us? He cashed our earnest money deposit of $1000 but has not seemed to cash the remainder of the 10 % down yet. Who do we contact about a problem like this? We are all moved in, Out of our old home and have put quite a bit of sweat into the home and the move. Thought it was a done deal BEFORE we moved in... This latest development is quite a shock...Any advice? We are in Penna.

Contact your State Commissioner about your problem ASAP.

Also contact your bank, to hold payment on the 10% down as a caution until the matter gets settled.
