Has anyone had any experience with Quality Wholsale Homes? I have been looking at their web site and they seem to have many, many models for each single area of the country. I have never heard of them before and was wondering if they are a credible manufactured home builder/ dealer. They seem to have great prices but I was concerned with quality.
Thanks

From what has been posted here before there seems to be some confusion about Quality Wholesale Homes being a builder. You can read the prior posts about this or any company by putting thier name (Quality Wholesale) in the search field at the top of this page. or by CLICKING THIS LINK

Quality Wholesale Homes is a large volume retailer that annually negotiates contracts with factories to build our homes. We use thier basic floor-plans with possible modifications to the standard features. Currently all of our contracts are with Fleetwood. Glendale, AZ Riverside, CA Woodland, CA Boise, ID Woodburn, OR Woodland, WA. Our prices are for the home only, not including delivery, factory options, site preparation, a/c ect. Most of these extras are offered to our customers, however they are not required to purchase them thru us. We currently have 24 sales representatives on staff to assist our potential customers. The reason were are normally able to save our customers so much money is due to our high volume, which enables us to negotiate favorable contacts with the factories that build our homes.

Just wanted to let you know that we toured Quality's homes on 8/6/05. Unfortunately they only had 3 models available from 3 of the manufacturing plants and their only showroom is in St. George, Utah. Some time after the first of the year they will have 20 homes available to see. Our salesman, Jerry was very helpful, very forthright, no high pressure and answered all our questions. We were very impressed with the quality of their homes. We will probably buy from them. Their warranty is for one year with Quality and then it goes to the manufacture of what ever has a problem like the roof or the fridge, etc. They have many upgrades to choose from. Over all we were very impressed. The homes did not look like mobile/manufactured homes at all. They have a good rating with the BBB.

I just purchased a home from Quality Wholesale Homes. It looks nice and is probably great structurally, but the finishing touches look likd they were done by children.

A major feature I ordered and paid for, was not done to the spec and I doubt they are going to do anything about it. The service after the home is ready go roll is terrible..

After the home comes off the line, the service sucks.
Mine had several flaws and I doubt they are going to do anything about it.

Your service is terrible and the home, while well constructed but the finishing detail looks like it was done by children.

So you fell for the line about them being the manufacturer....They are only a dealer..I hope other readers understand that dealer are the most important part of the purchase.....Buying from a dealer hundreds of miles away makes it impossible for them to have follow up service...Sorry you learned this tooooo late...Point is you bought here because you thought they were cheaper...Now you know why..

Do Not, I repeat Do not do business with Quality Wholesale homes. My wife and I have had a very bad experience with them, and as soon as you give them your money, you dont exist anymore. They dont stand behind anything they say or do and we have many problems with our new home that they dont care to hear about. Everytime we call, we are transfered to this person or that person and the whole situation is such a mess that we have an attorney to get to the bottom of it. There is other lawsuits pending against them I have heard, this is hearsay. Matt Chappel was our sales associate and he is just an ass. Benson the supposed guy in charge, but he reminds me of a 10 year old kid selling popcorn at a baseball game, and the service department, they guy in charge there cannot speak English. His name is Adolfo. DO not buy a home from these people, they are just middle men, that sub contract the work out to the closest building plant.
