I'm selling my MH and land in oklahoma, someone wants to buy it using a FHA loan. I purchased the home 7 years ago as a 1 yr. old repo. My realitor claims his broker said since the house has been moved more than once the house is not FHA approvable? Is this correct? I cant find anything stating this online. If so, are there any loopholes?
Thanks
FHA financing on used moble
Re: FHA financing on used moble
He is technically right..used homes moved from the original delivery location do not qualify for FHA insurance...Of course the home would have to stand a rigorous inspection by a FHA inspector....Most often the set up of a 7 year olds home would not meet the FHA requirements anyway.....Find another buyer...
Your sale does qualify for FHA Title 1 finance..in this case trhe max loan is 65K...
For eligable lenders..go here...

FHA title 1 is the one that does not do used home..From ths FHA handbook...
"5) "The manufactured unit must not have been installed
or occupied previously at any other site or
location."
