Purchasing New home in AL

We are looking to purchase a new home in the north east alabama area. I would like to know of some good homes and trustworthy dealers in that area.

There is a Palm Harbor dealership in Albertsville. I haven't talked with them yet, but PH is a good home. I've talked with the Southern Energy dealer in Cullman and they have some nice homes on display. The salesman was very nice and helpfull. I didn't get a warm fuzzy feeling from the Patriot dealer in Gardendale, but there is another dealer who handels Patriots in Jasper. You might try the Patriot web site for other dealers that might be closer to you.
If you are just starting your search I suggest you purchase some of the books offered on this site before you start looking. They have a lot of good information and can end up saving you a lot of grief.
