Need a Loan

We have been searching for a loan for almost 2 months now and have come up with zilch! My husband and I both have bad credit (545), but we are able to put up 20% down to compensate. The other problem is, He is self-employed, although we do have tax records to back this up also. We are trying to buy a land/home combo with the home being a repossesion. We would also like to put a partial basement under the home if at all possible. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
