Can more than 1 person finance 1 home

As my mother, and Grandparents grow older, I am trying to get them out of a bad area. I have a decent job, but would like to buy a home and land to let my family retire in comfort and still allow me a nice place when its my turn. My question is,, can we(meaning, myself, my mother and grandparents) all apply for financing on the one home/land? Given that three incomes can afford a nicer package and make payments easier?
