My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a 44X28 as a week-end / lake house... I do know from the dealer that the lowest corner/side must be 18 inches off the ground. With that in mind I'm guessing that the front or lake side of this trailor will be approximately 4 to 5 feet off the ground. What do I need to know, make sure of, how.. will that be stable. I don't want to arrive at the lake in 2 years and find out that the front 1/2 of the doublewide has fallen into the lake.
Re: site gradient
With proper footings the home will be very stable..Be sure the delear sets the home exactrly as the set up manual calls for...Piers of blocks may well need addition strength..Read the manual for exact requirements...
Re: site gradient
You will need double block piers for sure. make sure the site is graded so no water collects or flows under the home and make really sure the home is anchored properly!
Check the installation instructions.

Re: site gradient
Dealer will have the manual..IT MUST COME WITH THE HOUSE...I am sure they will let you read it before..If they object..move on to another dealer....
