Financing Manufactured Homes

Looking to finance manufactured home on permanent foundation. Was told by a mortgage broker that with a mid score of 585 it is impossible to get financing. even with 10 to 15 percent down in North Carolina. Is this lady pulling my leg or what?

You need an originator skilled in FHA finance...FHA isd not score driven..The originator is correct for conventional mortages..Scores need to be over 640 in most lenders cases...Try the find a lender section of this web site ofr lenders who specialize in manufactured homes..All will have closed many folks with credit profiles like yours.....
