Im pretty sure alot of us are in the same situation when it comes to purchasing your first home. In my case I have okay credit and can afford $1000 a month for morgage. I recently found a home that caught my attention and found out that the price was fair. The home is selling for $150,000 for a 3+3 with a 2 door garage built in 92. Sounds good right? What should be my next move. Isnt there a governent program for first time buyers, and would that be the right move?
Please help...
I just want to purchase a home without going through the wrong steps.
Your oppinions are greatly appreciated.

If the existing home is set up to very rigous standars..The FHA has a low to no downpwymwnt finance ...Usually there will be some closing costs to pay and it will take some cash...Check wtih this web sites find a lender section..

What you are looking for is FHA finance..FHA will have very rigorous set up satandards that few existing homes will pass....Even tho8ugh there is no down required....There are clsoing costs necessary..plus you are a little low on the payment for this kind of loan...You will have principle and interest of about $1000 plus anexcrow for taxes at about $150 (1/12 ofr the actual taxes) and 1/12 of the annual insurance about $100/mo plus FHA's MIP of about $100 per month..For this size loan you will be sending checks for about $1350/mo...Check the find a loan section of this web site..Good LUck..
