Manufactured Home with Land

Are there a sufficient number of people interested in buying the land to place a manufactured home to warrant a reply in this First Time Home Buyers Forum?
Although more expensive to buy the land, it is apparent that paying a lease on land for ten years would cost more than buying the land and owning it fully paid for after ten years. My wife and I are retirees, who are frustrated by the fact that you can only lease the land in Las Vegas or Southern California.
Maybe Murray with his vast experience can explain why there are not developers who could buy land and sell lots together with the manufactured home in, let's say,
a senior community. Such a procedure would lead to as many, if not more, sales of manufactured homes.
Thank you,
Richard and Carol
