I have looked at the Silvercreek homes in Texas and the only thing I noticed was that they were sort of a "cookie cutter" home with little options and very few floorplans. Most of the floor plans that they are making have been adopted from various builders mostly Town and Country. As far as quality goes, they are more of an entry level type of home with construction standards meeting the minumum standards. If price is the prime concern, a Silvercreek might work for you.

I just bought a SilverCreek. And am very please with the home. It is a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath 2300 sq ft. The workmanship on the house, ie the hinges, tubs, faucets are all excellent. So I would not hesitate about buying one.

As stated on another posting here ... Silvercreek Homes are built with plywood floors and other good features. What price range are looking for and what level of craftmanship will you feel comfortable with? I have a new Karsten Home that is better than most site built homes built today. So as in site built homes you can go from not so good to great. Please call me if you would like to discuss this further.
