Just wanted to let everyone know that we purchased a Keystone by Palm Harbor in Jan. Granted it hasn't been a full year yet, but we have been nothing but pleased and impressed with our home! We did have a few problems w/our salesperson screwing up the delivery date and move in, but the followup from Palm Harbor factory has been amazing! We went w/a Keystone which is their lower end home, and then added tons of upgrades. It ended up saving us money in the long run and is a nice looking home.

We have a neighbor who bought a Fleetwood & 3 months after they set the house up, she was still waiting on them to come do the trim out & skirting! Palm Harbor called us constantly after we moved in to make sure we were happy and the one time we had to call their service they were out the very next day!

Stick to your guns with the salespeople and don't let them bully you. If you are firm with what you want and do your homework about the features you want, it gives you more of an advantage.

You hear so many horror stories, I thought it would be nice to hear some good things about a home we are very pleased with.

It sounds like you did everything right.
1. Buy from a reputable company.
2. Do your homework and know what you want.
3. Don't let a salesman control the purchase.
