I just want to say a BIG thanks to this forum and all who participates!! I have been in the process of buying a MH for about 3 months now, and the best thing that happened to me during this process was to find this site. It has been part of my AM ritual - make coffee, check interest rates (which go up and down daily), and come here to see what's happening. I have posted questions and gotten so much good advice (Mr. Murray, you are eloquent in your responses). It might have saved me a few calls to my dealer if I had purchased one of the books suggested here, because every day someone was asking a question that I had not thought of, and I had to call my dealer and say "What about ...." I have had a wonderful experience with my Palm Harber dealer - I've read some posts about their aggressive sales - but I never found that to be true with the people I am dealing with. They were so very patient as I changed a window here, adding an option, and the next day deleting it. The financing aspect sent me for a trip, but I finally settled on a local bank (I know where his children go to school:)) I ordered my home today with lots of customization, and I can expect delivery in about 4 weeks, knowing that it's been built inside while we have had a rainy spring/summer. Now my next step is to get site prep done and the home set. If it's as good as the experience I've already had, it'll be fine. (I'll let you know) but you know contractors are a different breed:) Again, thank you, thank you, for all the help. I count on the Universe taking care of me, and I found this site just when I needed it. THANKS!!
