Does anyone know of a high-end manufactured home community around Atlanta where the residents buy and occupy the lots to place their home. Currently, I live in a conventional stick-built home but am nearing retirement and am tired of the upkeep and maintenance. I have lived here for over 20 years. I am single and really only need a large single section home. I probably will buy a new Homes of Merit or Palm Harbour but would like to own the site on which to place it. I prefer the security of a community but would like to own the land. I would pay for everything in cash--no financing needed. Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.
