I am in the middle of the purchase of a bay Manor Homes of Merit from Lake City FL. Everything i have read and heard about these homes tells me that i am making the right decision. Heck i think i'd go to work for em if they paid me my present salary LOL
Anyway as i am making a big investment here i was wondering if anyone ever thought of attaching something to the bottom to hold everything in place securely.
Like particle board or maybe 3/8 plywood???
How about aluminum sheeting? I work in an aircraft manufacturing plant and have access to scrap aircraft skins for cheap so that is a possibility.
Give your thoughts. Good Bad or just plain silly as i'm thinking of doing something with it.
Covering the bottom of your home with particle board or plywood??
Re: Covering the bottom of your home with particle board or plywood??
In your area of Florida...much more important could be a vapor barrier directly on the ground..The underside of the home will hold up just fine if it is moisture free..
By the way...the dealer probably would love to hire you...good excited salepersons are hard to find.....Some salesperson make a great income...(of course some are hungrey though)..
You have made a great choice...good luck with your home..
