final walk through

I know this subject has been addressed on this forum more than once but can''t seem to find the conversations.

Is there a set list of things to look for on a final walk through, other than doors, windows, cracks in cieling, walls etc.

It is coming to that point for me and I find it impossile to be present for the walk-through and have a very reliable "agent'" to act in my stead but need a "list" to send him.

Can anywone be of help for me and my agent or give me a list of things to look for etc.

Thanking everyone for the knowledge that I have gained over the years, you have all been most helpful.

'Specially Mr. Murray.

Thank you James, I sent the long link to my brother-in-law who acts as my "agent" in this exciing journey.

My experience so far both with the salesman, and company who built my home has been nothing but positive.

I am going to have a wonderful home when all is said and done with.

And what Company is it may i ask???
I am having a Bay Manor Built from Lake City and have nothing to say but good
things about them so far.
I have met the crew that will come from the manufacturer already to do all the final prep work and they are a bunch of really good people. Of course that's not to say
that i'm not driving myself crazy worrying about everything anyway.
Good Luck and i hope evrything works out Great for you

The company I went with was BonnaVilla by Chief Industries from Aurora, Nebraska.
They don't build cheap, but then neither do I, I included options for old age, levers, pull-out cabinet shelves, ramps, handicap john, grab bars etc.

Can't wait to see it in person and not thru digital pic's.
