Can the dealer make arrangements for site preperation (land prep, utilities, driveway, etc.) and permits or is this something I should do myself?

Most dealers will offer these services as well as the home....Often the dealer's contractors are very familiar with manufactured homes and will do a better job than most out side of the business...

A prudent customer will get quotes from a few other contractors...but if the prices are close..the dealer supplied contractors will be best...they do many deals with the dealer and will do very good work expecting lots of additional business in the future..

As far as permits are concerned...sales pricing policy is different in most dealers..Most often quoted prices will not include permits..but can be added..the reason for this is that most dealers serve large geographical areas and every government has different fees and permits...example..in our area we regularly dealer with over 30 different government entities (counties and cities)..each has different permit requirements and fees..
