I have a small word of advice that I wish i would have listened to. When ordering your home, and you plan to place it on a foundation, do not order it "foundation ready". This feature causes them to cut the outriggers short of the edge of the home. your exterior walls will sag. I was told this by a dealer early in my shopping phase. I thought if I have a concrete foundation with the exterior walls set almost on the conctete how could this happen? well it did. my home is in great shape only a year old but when you stand near an exterior wall you can feel the slope from the beam to the wall. I have a large heavy home with a lot of insulation and 2x6 exterior walls. Spend a little extra and have the contractor notch the bricks or work around the outriggers you won't regreat it. Don't listen to the dealer who tells you "oh our homes won't do that", they all will this is a common known problem I was warned about but didn't listen. They are still good homes and I am happy with it overall, just wish I knew ahead of time the things that were necesary.
