Modular/Panel homes - Anyone have recommendations?
Modular/Panel homes - Anyone have recommendations?
I am looking for a company to use to build a modular/panel home. I want to build something that is 3500 sf and has a progressive exterior and floor plan. I do not want to have a log cabin kind of look. If anyone has can recommend a company I would appreciate it.

If money's less of an object, and you're in the Northwest, try Pan Abode Cedar Homes. Nice stuff, more than I was willing to pay for ( I DO want to retire

Hi,
I read your letter and thought I would tell you that my husband and I have looked at so many different manufacted homes and have decided on Fuqua. They have their factory in Bend, OR. It was very impressive to see how these homes are built indoors. They use grade A lumber and other quality items. Their guarantee is longer than the others. Also, their designs look like a stick built home and they have so many different models to choose from. Oh, and the sale yard in Bend, Hight Mountain Homes, has 15 decorated models to look at. Ask for Andy, he has been so kind and nice, great attitude too.
Good Luck, Lorraine

Modular/Panel homes - resale value
Lorraine,
Looks like you are one of those who decided to buy a modular home. What is your expectation on resale values of modular homes? We want to buy a modular but we have great concern about the resale market due to "misconceptions" or "bad rap".

I am looking into buying a modular UBC compliant home. What is the appreciation on one if you own the land? I have been told that they appreciate just like a site built house .
