Park Management Approval
Park Management Approval
We are rebuilding our lives from a bankruptcy due to major business losses. We have the financing all set but the park won't approved us because of the banruptcy and their feeling that we would be a risk for the rent. We have three years of landmanagement references that are excellent and the bankruptcy is two years old. Is there any recourse for people who are capable of paying the rent but have a bankruptcy in the credit refenrence? We have been told that the park managers can over ride the owner who really wants to sell the unit to us.
Re: Park Management Approval
Unfortunately kathy, they do not have to rent the space to you, your only option would be to purchase the home and then have it moved.
Re: Park Management Approval
Every parks policy is different..unfortunately if they have a no bankruptcy rule..they probably cannot waive it for fear of discrimination lawsuits from someone else rejected...but you might could offer a larger deposit..or even to prepay rent by a few months..this would give them a chance to say this is not a standard rental contract..and waive the rule..If they persist..you probably do not want to be there anyway..
