Used Schult

Can anyone tell me about the quality of a Schult home? I believe this one is a used 2001 model 32 x 80. I'm not sure of the model name, or floor plan. I am supposed to go look at it tomorrow and would like some advice as to what to look for, and how they compare with others. Also, is there a link anywhere to any of the older Schult DW floor plans? Any info would be of help. I'm aware of the BKs, but for used it wouldn't be an issue.

Oakwood built "Schult" brand homes all over the country...Every plant built a different product..some...could be among the best...some are definitely the very bottom of the barrel...

The brand name will be of little help...when you see the home there will be a data plate inside with the location of the plant...That info might help in getting accurate info on the home..

Thanks for the input. I postponed looking at the MH till Saturday, as it's quite a drive to it. I did some checking though, and I believe the plant location was Texas if that's any help.

Yes...that would NOT be one of the original high quality Schult homes that are built in the Middle West...The Middle West Schult are among the best..

In the Southern states Oakwood just put the label on the regular Oakwood homes and sold them to independent delaers...I know the Schult that was built in GA..was nothing more than an Oakwood with a different name...Would you make this trip to look at an Oakwood in your area?
