Lot Rents

I am looking for a used mobile home in Florida that I could use as a winter retreat until I eventually do move down to Florida. Because I will be keeping my current house up north, I am looking for a mobile home park with a low lot rent fee. Outside of calling every mobile home park around the Tampa, Clearwater and Sarasota areas, is there a listing of the Mobile Home Parks anywhere that shows there Lot Rents and maybe other ammenities, so I can make a comparison?
This would be a very big help. Thanks

You might want to try a few contacts..

Florida Manufactured Home Association might have a rent list..

http://www.fmha.org/

A good web site specializing in Florida parks is

http://www.mcxpress.com/Articles/Archive.iAW

or www,mcxpress.com

Of course the listings here in the multiple listing service should also be helpful..

What about a list for other states, that would also include information regarding if it was resident owned, or has family and/or age restrictions, in addition to listing typical lot rents?

Well...I think I posted this before...CA has a great site listing every park in the state..with operators names and phone numbers..You can search by city, county..what ever..

http://www.hcd.ca.gov/codes/mp/mp.cgi

Also the Wehrman Library has lots of info on resident owned parks..It is maintained by a consulting firm specializing in such in CA..

A phone call to the sites owners might be helpful finding a list you are looking for..
