We saw the cutest DW in Texas on vacation last year...but we never really thought..at that time... that we might someday live in one. I can't find them anywhere? Anyone have any contacts or information on log side appearance Double Wides. Also, if I buy a used double wide can I have the log siding added/changed out.
Help??
Thanks

Hi there, I too fell in love with the log-sided homes. Two companies that offer log siding as an upgrade are Karsten and Nashua.

I've also done limited research on the internet for log siding. Check out www.logsiding.com

good luck!

We own a really nice one it is made in Idaho by Guerdon, go www.guerdonhomes.com, ours started at 59k but we added a lot of goodies and it came to 78,000 delivered plus tax. 1333 sq ft. $60 a foot for super nice one.
We put it on a 120 x100 ( 40k had all utilities already in) lot with great lakeview at Eagle lake near Susanville. It s been two years now and it just appraised at $300k
We are going to sell it for 300K take profit of 150K and do another log house up at Klamath lake oregon this Summer, free& clear. You can not stick build for this low price , we did 2x6 walls , better carpet & countertops, deck, split rail cedar fence
its only 500 ft, from waters edge, 1/4 mile from new marina & airstrip.
