Hey all! I think we have made our choice for our new manufactured home. Here are the specs.... want to know if we missed anything important and how the specs look?
-2004 Clayton Colony Bay Gold Series (41x60)
-Built in Richfield, NC
-Energy Star rated w/thermopane-low e windows and upgraded insulation
-full OSB wrapping
-5/8 tongue & groove OSB flooring
-maintenance free vinyl
-20yr shingles
-solid oak cabinets
-Moen faucets
-50 gallon electric water heater
-2x6 floor joists, 16" O.C.
-2x4 wall construction
-2x6 headers over windows and doors
-main water cut off and cut offs throughout except tubs and shower
-90"sidewalls
-6 panel doors
-one piece showers and tubs
-3 rooms finished drywall(great room, dining room and master bedroom)
-4/12 roof pitch
-plumbing is a specialized plastic(Q-vex?? or something) it has band clamps instead of being glued and is not supposed to freeze
-brick skirting with footers under frost line
-electrical plug-ins are attached to studs

I think we covered everything... sorry this is so long but I want to get other opinions to check behind myself... how does it sound?? Thanks! Heather

Check out this page. Suggests 2x6 for exterior walls.

Specs sound good if the rafters, floor joists and wall studs are on 16 inch centers...

Go for it..
