I have posted on this board a few times and at the same time, received alot of valuable information that I used to purchase our MH. Thanks for all the input.
We purchased our Fuqua home thru our local dealer after much shopping and price comparing. It was a wonderful experience and I would hope everyone could be so lucky. They carried all the papers up until the end so that we could avoid the dreaded construction loan process, what a help. One loan.
Locked in at 5.63 rate for 30 years, yep even with a MH, some of you had me worried :}. The part that most suprised me is that it apprasied for 220,000 w/o
landscaping or pavement and a half acre, but it does have a three car garage.
No doubt a stick built would have come in higher, put I spent a whole lot less.
Mr. Murry was right, location, location, location. Thanks again and take care!!!

Wendy,
I am glad to hear of your success...enjoy your new home!
I have a question, if you don't mind answering. I have looked at the Fuqua website several times and like what I see. I have no idea, however, how much these homes cost. I know there are many variables (options, location..I live in Missouri) but if you don't mind, could you tell me which model you decided on and what the cost was. I would appreciate it very much. We are in the "information gathering" stage and have not yet visited any dealers.

Thanks,
Denise

I think I remember Fuqua is around $45 - $48 a foot but can't remember where I got that from.
