My Husband and I are looking for our first home and from what we have been told Jacobsen is the best and everything else stinks. However the home we like the most is a fleetwood can some with a fleetwood tell me if it is a good home to live in. Thank You for listening.

Florida has many manufacturers to chose from...Jacobson is one of the best...but so are most Homes of Merits, Palm Harbor from Plant City and many others..

Fleetwood has many plants in the US (45 if I remember correctly..could be wrong though)...Each plant builds more than 1 line of homes..each line has different specs...In Florida there probably are 5 to 8 different Fleetwood models available...

I can say this..those built in GA are of the most basic homes on the market...Those built in FL might have better specs...

Remember..if high qaulity is what you want...Jacobson..or Homes of Merit will build the exact floorplan you have seen (except that Jacobson is limited to 32x68 as the largest home they can build..)

One of the best ways to tell about a specific product is to take a plant tour...That way you can see with your own eyes all the items that are normally hidden from view..
