Visited 3 dealers today and have a question...

We started with Fleetwood...
They have a floor plan that we just love...but the quality seems so poor compared to the Solitaire ones we looked at. The salemen also put us off. I described him to my husband as 'shifty'.
Then to Karnco Homes to see the Patriot Line, which they didn't have any. We were shown a Bridgeport by Town and Counrty. The quality seemed good. I didn't care for the floor plans, but there are more to see.
However when I came home to research Town and Country, I find that they are owned by Cavalier Home, who don't have the best reputation for sales or service.
Then to Palm Harbor. The salesman asked what I'd read about the company on the internet after I showed him floorplans I had printed. I told him the truth, they are a good company, with good quality, and a rep. for high pressured sales. And I was just there to LOOK. He did very well, no pressure, gave us lots of information about how the homes are built. We still didn't see a floor plan that was what we wanted.
I'd appreciate any info on Town and Counrty, the Bridgeport Series.
AND
I'd like to know if it's possible to upgrade a Fleetwood, Sandpointe to be a quality home that will last? And what we should look at upgrading and how much would it cost.
Tomorrow...Champion...lol My dh is a teacher on Spring Break this week. My goal is for us to at least have a dealer picked out during this week. So far it has been very frustrating...
