Need dealer advice in N.W Washington

Hello everyone,
I have been reading this forum for some time now and have had many questions answered without even asking!
How about that!?

I do have 2 questions however.
My wife and I are selling our home in S.ca, and are concidering moving to N.W washington around the bremerton, olympia, tacoma, seattle area.
I know it's a broad area but it all depends on where they decide to transfer my wife.

I think we have decided on a valley home (although guerdon and silvercrest are also on our list, however I can't find any info on guerdon)

I wanted to know if anyone could recommend a trusted dealer, and if anyone
could offer any advice on buying land.
Land seem's very cheap and would like some opinions on (quality) areas as we don't know the area's.

Any help it greately appreciated.

James

Guerdon's Stayton, OR ( near Salem) plant has been sold to Karsten, who own plants in Sacramento and Albequerque, NM. We recently bought a triplewide Karsten from Santiam Homes and have been quite pleased with the value of the home and the installation.
When you are buying land, make sure to check the zoning, the surrounding zoning, schools if applicable, utility distances, septic percolation.

Hello James,

Sounds like your on the right track. I would check out Marlette and Champion upper lines. Your moving to a nice area. I use to live near Bremerton. I wish you well.

Is this Guerdon's Manufactured Homes the same company that built homes in Manhattan, Kansas in the 1970s. Who were the founding owners of this company and what happened when Karsten took over the Stayton, Oregon branch?
