Randy,
Would you please recommend manufacturers who sell doublewides in Ohio? I am looking for quality first. Thanks.

Randy,
Do you have something against Cavalier's homes? I never see you mention anything about their homes when recommending. I am a Astro dealer and have been for MANY years and havent seen a better home out there. I sell 4 other manufacturers and as far as quality and service for the price Astro is unbeatable. Just wondering.

Hello Rik,

In my comparison book I rate Cavalier in general as, "Poor to Average". I realize that Cavaler is a large company with many different brands being manufactured under the Cavalier name. To be honest when I did my research into the company I didn't find much to get excited about. Even Cavalier's investment statement to it's investors states that they are going after the lower to mid-range buyers. Now Astro may be an upper-line within the Cavalier product line and I will have to take a look at them again. Send me a brochure to: J & R Enterprises 12028 Rd 6 SE Moses Lake WA, 98837, thanks.

Randy,
Thanks so much for your guidance. I have a 92 Commodore now and I love it. I am so glad to learn they still make a quality product. You recommendation settles it.

Randy,
I live in Florida and have been looking at the Aspen that Cavalier makes. It is higher priced than fleetwood, but it seem to have better quality. Can you tell me anything about Cavalier. The dealers here (even the fleetwood) say it is the top of the line, Homes of Merit is next and Fleetwood under that. I tried finding web pages about them but NO LUCK. Any info will be help.

Hello Chris,

I have not looked into the Aspen line recently. Cavilier in general is poor to average when it comes to construction. But I can take any model Cavilier makes and order it with upgrades and bring the model into the quality catagory. Follow my construction guide and you'll be fine. I do believe Cavilier is trying to improve customer service and it seems to be spending more time on quality control. God bless.
