Quality Rating for Champion Titan

How would you rate Champion's Titan factory homes. I'm interested in the A305 model. I've heard comments from tacky to above average.

I've been trying to find a good choice for over a year now and am very frustrated with the content and quality of information available from companys like Champion, Fleetwood etc..

You have not mentioned where you are at...Titans are built in more than 1 factory and they are not all the same..

Recently Champion has started to build a Titan model in the Home of Merit plant in Lake City, Fl...This home is a stripped down version of the Forest Manor...with NO custom possibility and only a 1 year warranty...It is the most basic of those built in Lake City and not called Homes of Merit..so there will be no confusion....

This product has 2x6 exterior walls on 24 inch centers, 2x3 interior walls with 24 inch centers, 24 inch rafters and floor joists...Limited choice of carpet, cabinets and trim options...The choice is yours..

Hi Mr. Murray. Thanks for all of the helpful comments that you have made to us "neophytes" in the MH buying arena!

This Titan model seems to be just what I'm looking for. I recently purchased (for a distressed $22K!) five acres in Jefferson County, Fla. (near Monticello/Tallahassee) including a 20 year-old Liberty singlewide. It's OK for now, but I will certainly be upgrading soon, and that's why I'm doing the research now.

Is there a link to the floor plan of this model? Also, I recall you mentioning a contact person at the Homes of Merit plant in Lake City that could refer me to a local dealer that sells MH's from this facility. Could you steer me in the right direction?
