Vacation home

Hello,
We are first time manufactured home buyers confused by all of the different companies available. We have looked at Astro, Titan, Champion, Burlington and Skyline. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding quality vs price? How would people rate the above companies?

I'm a manufactured home rookie as well, but I believe thats a hard question to answer as the quality of manufactured homes,same model varies greatly from one region to another, what may be a quality home in the SE may not be so in the NW.

I am currently doing my own research on manufactured housing...theres ALOT to research...but its been fun.

After asking numerous questions and reading various post particularly from Mr.Murray, I have narrowed my search down to Home of Merit, and Palm Harbour, these home are constructed with 2x4 int,2x6 ext,2x6 floor,all 16"center, 1/2 " sheetrock,just to name a few of the construction qualitys.

I am also of the opinion that set-up/install crews are just as important as the construction of the home. This is a great forum with very knowledgable people, Im sure someone can give you a better answer than I just did. Good luck, and keep in touch.
