building on the hillside

i have got a larger piece of land, but it is all uphill. did someone built on the hillside using high walls and beams as a foundations for manufactured house??

I've seen it; I believe you would have some foundation-engineering expense. It looks great and there is lots of space underneath. I've no idea what the foundation might cost; I'm sure it depends on soils, slope, accessibility for drilling equipment (for pilings).
