Comment on Housewrap

I guess I was confused - but what I want to know is does a sheeting of some kind need to be stapled or whatever, over the top of the OSB Wrap that goes around the home before they put on the siding? Just wondered if something had to protect the OSB, plus also keep the wind out. Thanks.
