This question is for Mr. Murray - where can I find the floorplan for the Homestead Powerhouse? I've gone to the website but don't see it. Is this house available in Georgia, or was it only South Carolina? (I forget where I got that idea, but it was something I read here). Thanks-

I'm not Mr. Murray, but I happen to have the link handy. It was posted by someone else not very long ago and I was just looking at it again last night.

Thje link in the other add is good...This is the home..
It will be available from "exclusive" Cavalier brand dealers only...not every Cavalier dealer has access to this home..
Cavalier brands are ..Bellcrest, Homestead, Cavalier, Belmont and Buccaneer..All dealers that are exclusive with one of these brands have the Power House..The Power House is exactly the same for each..
Be sure to remember to price it with OSB or plywood floors and Zone 3 insulation..
You now can get White and/or Maple cabinets for a up charge of about $ 1000..
Even with the most recent price increase...it is still the best buy in the South..

By "exclusive", I assume you mean those dealers who don't sell any line other than those mentioned. The only Homestead dealer I know of in this area is up in Cumming and he sells other brands, so where would I have to go to find an exclusive dealer?

It is not far to Augusta..
.but...you could find the Bellcrest, Cavalier, Buccanier, Homestead...web sites and search for dealers in your area...call them on the phone and save a little time...
Many "exclusive" dealers are like us...We have 3 stores in the area..1 is Cavalier excluesive...From what I have seen...many "exclusive" dealers have more product as well..

I went Monday to order a Powerhouse. The dealer is telling me I can only order exterior of black and white. Is this true? We would prefer tan and green. They said the company bought a lot of white and black at good price, to pass on good price to us, therefore, no choice available. Also, I was quoted $52,900, for the house with plywood floors and zone III, Is this about right? Thanks

$52,900 ??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this is a "loaded" model like the one shown in the pictures on Rachel's website (screen name: Threnody), I'll be over to order one tomorrow. That house is GREAT !!!!! What a fantastic deal!!! Can you imagine finding a site-built home at this price?

Does it have the upgrades? (shelving in the closet, flat top stove) If it doesn't, that would explain why it's 52. If it does, you got a righteous deal.
I was told I could only get black/white exterior too if that helps. FWIW, in my energy guide, it said to choose lighter color vinyl because darker colors cause higher energy consumption. Of course, the guide is in my new house, and I am here at the old one to clean.

That is what we sell them for in Augusta...You can order your own collors..Price includes skirting, a/c and 2 set steps with landings and rails..Sounds right to me..
The newest models include full factory service...The previous models did not..
