Septic Questions...

Hi y'all,
I have a few questions regarding septic. The property we have acquired already has a septic tank installed from a previous MH that was repo'd and taken off the property. This is a great boon for us in that we won't have to purchase or place a tank ourselves which will save us a sum of money. The tank is the right size and everything for our home. The problem we are having is finding a place to set our home in regards to the septic placement. The county requires the tank be at least five feet from the home. The previous owners placed it exactly five feet from their home! This is not a good thing for us because we would like to place our home on the property to get the best view of the mountians etc. which they did not do. It's making it hard to find a good placement. My first question is this: Is the sewer line conection on the house moveable or does it always get placed in a specfic place on a specific plan? Just wondering if it can be run to any end of the house without that being an option. Getting tired of being "optioned" to death!
Also do you know if you can place the home over the leach lines? We were given a basic plot plan of the previous owners and where we would most like to place our home is right where they have run the leach lines. We are figuring that is a no no though, which puts us back to trying to place the home in regards to the septic. How nice it would be to be able to place our home whereever we would like! unfortunately our pocket book says to keep the home where it is and work around it
